Consumer confidence levels may be soaring and unemployment numbers may be dropping (slightly), but none of that matters to you if you're still in the middle of a job search and desperate for a paycheck. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average duration of unemployment is about 22.5 weeks (or a little over 5 months). But as the graph shows, quite a few people are actually getting hired in less time than that. So, we're wondering how your experience compares with the national average.
